I’m Sara, the founder of Roots and Aerials, a small-batch, plant-inspired wellness brand rooted in my love of nature and a desire to bring the simple wisdom of the Earth into everyday life.

My own journey into holistic wellness began through my experience with dystonia, which led me to look more deeply at my relationship with my body, nature, and wellbeing. Over the years, I’ve explored EFT, natural wellness practices, and herbalism. My love of plants continues to shape everything I create.

Today, I handcraft small-batch soaps and plant-inspired products with intention, choosing ingredients and botanicals that invite you to slow down and reconnect with the natural world.

They are little reminders to pause, breathe, nourish yourself, and appreciate the plants and Earth around us.

I handcraft soaps and plant-based products because I believe our relationship with nature can be woven into the simplest parts of everyday life.

Something as ordinary as washing your hands or taking a shower can become an opportunity to slow down, connect with the senses, appreciate the plants around us, and care for ourselves intentionally.

Roots represent the Earth—our connection to the physical world, plants, nature, and the body.

Aerials represent the Sky—our awareness, spirit, intuition, and inner knowing.

And where the Earth and Sky meet is the soul.

That is the heart of Roots and Aerials.

A Growing Vision

While my handmade products are at the heart of Roots and Aerials today, I am slowly expanding this work into personalized, one-on-one wellness support.

As I continue my education and deepen my practice, I am beginning to work individually with people who are seeking a more holistic approach to their wellbeing and who feel called to explore their relationship with their body, mind, emotions, and connection to nature.

This part of Roots and Aerials is growing intentionally and organically.

Our Ingredients

Roots and Aerials ignited after years of diving deep into nature’s medicine cabinet, rejecting the noise of conventionalism, and falling hard for what actually works. From that fire, I began handcrafting soap bars-each one bespoke, and intentional: goat milk, botanicals, pure essential oils, mineral-kissed colors, and third party tested safe fragrances that sing to the senses.
